Job Description
Apex Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center is a rapidly growing, skincare facility that empowers employees to deliver exceptional patient experiences. We are currently looking for a talented candidate for the role of Aesthetic Nurse Injector. The Aesthetic Nurse Injector is responsible for consulting and administering of aesthetic treatments to Apex patients. This position will float between our Mayfield Heights and Concord locations.
This is a salaried/exempt position. This position requires legal authorization to work in the US.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Identifies opportunities and uses effective approaches to consult with the patient in assisting them with choosing a course of action and development of appropriate solutions for their aesthetic needs.
Uses their clinical knowledge of aesthetics, cosmetic fillers, neurotoxins and other injectables to build their patient following.
Uses their intuitive interpersonal skills along with a positive mindset to engage the patient
Maintains patient/client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policy
Administers treatments in accordance with company policies and procedures
Able to perform a variety of aesthetic treatments including, but not limited to chemical peels, CoolSculpting, microneedling, and injections.
Recommends various treatments and skin regimens based on patient consultation
Pursue opportunities to educate patients on additional treatments and services
Educate patients on all treatment processes including pre and post treatment care guidelines
Detailed in their charting and clinical documentation of each patient
Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances quality of service and care offered to patients
Maintains a professional and neat appearance that adheres to the company dress code
Attends in house trainings and assists with company cosmetic events
Assists with maintaining appropriate inventory levels and notifies management when inventory is low
Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms in between each patient
Establish and maintain rapport with patients in order to ensure patient satisfaction
Assists with clinical procedures as needed.
Ensure safety of patients at all times when performing treatments
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledgeable of various aesthetic services and skin care products
Must have sound judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills
Must be able to work a flexible schedule
Must have strong written and oral communication skills, be highly organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong knowledge of current trends and aesthetic treatments
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Current Ohio Registered Nurse License
At least 2-years Aesthetics experience (preferred)
Proven Sales Experience
Proficient with personal computers and contemporary software programs (MS office, excel, etc.)
Must maintain yearly Continued Education and stay current on product lines & services.
