Immediate need for a talented Azure Cloud Security Engineer. This is a 12+ Months Contract to hire opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, GA(Hybrid) . Key Responsibilities: Works with cloud account and engineering teams to review, manage, and track security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and remediation efforts. Define and implement cloud policy, assess compliance, and lead remediation efforts for non-compliant resources Promotes security and privacy by design through effective partnership with security, cloud account, and engineering teams. Works closely with cloud account teams to fully understand business priorities. Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements. Lead cost-risk tradeoff discussions with the product teams, helping to decide how important and at what increased cost each security requirement/functionality can be justifiably added in the product Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Skills: Cloud Security, Azure Security, Terraform, Remediation, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Network Security Must Haves: Azure cloud, Azure security policy, policy as code, terraform 5 or more years of experience in related field or BS / BA and 3 + years professional experience or MS and 1 year related experience. Demonstrated Azure security and Policy as code (Terraform) experience required. Working knowledge of cloud concepts and network architectures. Working knowledge of network security concepts including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and WAFs. Working knowledge of encryption concepts and implementation methods. Working knowledge of Identity and Access Management concepts and technologies. Strong collaboration skills to effectively develop consensus and understanding among cross-functional teams on key security risks and vulnerabilities Develop and implement leading practice security processes and practices across cross-functional teams throughout Technology and the Business Proficient critical thinking and analytical skills needed to bring successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or within department problems Possesses ability to clearly summarize problems and tailor messaging for intended audiences Drives completion of projects or assignments MS/MA in a related discipline (i.e., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, etc.); and/or 3 years of experience in related field. Experience with cloud security posture management solutions. Big four consulting background or Fortune 500 company experience. Telecom/Cable industry experience. At least one relevant industry certification - CISSP, CISM, CISA Cloud Provider certifications - Azure, GCP, AWS Our client is a leading Telecom Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
