Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, oversee accounts, and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the company’s financial health by preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Record and maintain all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

· Reconcile bank and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.

· Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including preparing invoices and ensuring timely payments.

· Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

· Maintain and update general ledger accounts.

· Monitor and manage budgets, highlighting discrepancies or concerns to management.

· Process payroll and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

· File and organize financial documentation for easy retrieval and compliance purposes.

· Collaborate with accountants for tax preparation, audits, and other financial processes.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and legal regulations.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
