Established in 1996, NOVA was originally founded to provide Environmental Consulting, Geotechnical Engineering, and Construction Materials Testing and Inspection services to the design and construction community, largely in the southeastern United States. NOVA Engineering is immediately seeking a CMT Project Manager / Engineer (PE) in our Ft Lauderdale, FL office.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Project coordination and project management of Special Inspection and Construction Materials Testing work
• Providing oversight of field staff
• Project engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & report review for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office and residential projects
• Field inspection, such as foundation inspections, proofrolling, subgrade evaluations, etc.
• Report preparation
• Client consultation and maintenance
• Providing assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company
• Will work with Metafield on a daily basis

The preferred candidate will have:

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in construction testing/inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials is required
• Successfully passing the PE exam is required
• Strong communication skills
