Description Creative Art Director Purpose : As the Creative Art Director on the Marketing and Communications Team, you'll be responsible for leading GLN design and collaboratively developing collateral that visually communicates our organization's mission and vision, increases awareness of our brand and drives the results of specific marketing campaigns. Your creative guidance and design efforts help serve hundreds of thousands of leaders from 110+ countries in 60+ languages through The Global Leadership Summit, our development program and our product.
Global Leadership Network (GLN) is a nonprofit organization located in South Barrington, Illinois. Our purpose is to introduce more people to Jesus and fully follow Him. We accomplish this by serving pastors and equipping churches in order to inspire Kingdom-oriented leaders around the world through the Global Leadership Summit and other leadership development resources.
The Global Leadership Summit is attended by 60,000+ leaders in 400 sites (primarily churches) throughout the United States. The Summit is translated into 50+ languages and held in over 800 sites in 110 countries reaching over 240,000 international leaders from September to April.

Hybrid Work Schedule : This position currently has a hybrid schedule which includes working in the office Tuesday through Thursday for two scheduled Core Weeks each month and the option to work from home or in the office on Mondays, Fridays, and Tuesday through Thursdays during non-Core Weeks.

Primary Responsibilities :
- Developing and maintaining the consistency of the corporate and sub-brands for the organization
- Manage contract or employee graphic designers
- Engaging in the design process from start-to-finish including concepting, layouts, revisions, edits, final file preparation for print and/or digital use, etc.
- Providing creative graphic design solutions for projects within deadlines
- Using Adobe Creative Cloud to layout and build digital files based on brand guidelines and provided project specifications
- Staying current with design, branding and marketing trends
- Bringing your best thinking and innovation to the Marketing and Communications Team
- Actively participates in one-on-one meetings with manager, team meetings, all-staff meetings, and cross-functional meetings, as needed.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
Key Deliverables: - Print and digital collateral including, but not limited to style guides, web banners, email and social media graphics, signs, conference screen graphics, PowerPoint slide templates, handouts, flyers, postcards, envelopes, business cards, advertisements, corporate identity and other marketing collateral.
- Supporting the organization's social media amplification efforts during the two days of The Global Leadership Summit.
Qualifications Education, Experience, and Other Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in graphic design (preferred)
- Approximately 5 years of full-time graphic design experience a plus
- A portfolio showing a wide range of graphic design and campaign executions
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience with other creative apps in Adobe CC (After Effects, Dimension, XD, Workfront, etc.) and Figma a plus
- Experience with Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.) and Jira a plus
- A vital relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and an active participant of a local church that holds to a historic, orthodox understanding of biblical Christianity
