Asgard Resources is a rapidly growing sand processing company located in Western North Dakota and Eastern Montana. We are looking for the right people to add to our team. We have been a leading provider of frac sand to oil and gas companies nationwide since 2019.

Job Summary:

Asgard Resources is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators at our sand mine facilities in Eastern Montana. The primary functions of the operator include but are not limited to - being responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, skidsteers, and various other similar equipment. Successful applicants will be trained on the specific equipment utilized at our facilities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Inspecting equipment before and after use to ensure it's in good working order and reporting issues to supervisor as per MSHA safety standards
• Ability and knowledge to operate and monitor equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Monitoring performance and adjusting settings as required to perform tasks correctly
• Tracking scheduled maintenance of equipment and notifying their supervisor if maintenance is past due
• Filling out performance records to report problems with equipment and track where and when it was used
• Cleaning equipment after use and disposing of any collected scraps or waste
• Completing minor repair work and maintenance as needed
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Good safety, behavior and attendance record
• Ability to work independently or with a team and to be able to take direction from supervisors
• Willingness to do other work as needed, including heavy labor
• Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, 8-12-hour shifts, days or nights, weekends and holidays, overtime as needed
• Ability to work near, around, or on light or heavy equipment
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., repeatedly climb stairs and ladders, shovel, use power tools, etc.
