Job Description

Hire Resolve is seeking a High Level Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join a prestigious accounting firm based in California. This role requires a deep understanding of financial statements, tax regulations, and audit practices.

As a High Level CPA, you will lead complex accounting tasks, take charge of financial audits, and provide strategic advice on tax planning and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to work effectively with clients to enhance their financial operations.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to relevant legal guidelines, driving overall financial health for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements
  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop tax strategies and prepare tax returns for maximum efficiency
  • Advise clients on best practices for financial management
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and assist with training
  • Maintain and build long-lasting relationships with clients
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices
  • Oversee the implementation of accounting processes improvements

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a High Level CPA
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Active CPA certification
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and auditing
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Leadership skills and experience in managing teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality
