Job Description

Position Summary: The Medical Laboratory Technician performs advanced clinical procedures, including chemical, biological, immunological, and bacteriological testing with an understanding of the theory and principle. The person must have compassion for patients and be able to represent the hospital mission. The Medical Laboratory Technician is cross-trained in multiple areas of the laboratory within professional certification and performs phlebotomy as needed. Job Requirements: Education: Two-year college (Associate’s Degree) Experience: No previous experience Certification: MLT ASCP (Obtained within one year of hire) The starting rate for this position is:$23.76 Rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale.
