Job Title : Merchandise Assistant - Junior
Contract Duration : 6+ Months
Pay range : $23 - 25/hr
Location : Framingham, MA
Work Type : Hybrid, In-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays

About the Role:

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for fashion and retail? We're seeking a talented Merchandise Assistant to support our buying team. You'll play a crucial role in managing purchase orders, vendor communications, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase Order Management: Create, process, and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
• Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to buyers, including scheduling appointments, organizing samples, and managing paperwork.
• Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain data in relevant systems.
• Report Generation: Generate reports to track key performance indicators and identify trends.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with retail systems and processes.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
