Job Summary: As a Network Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and troubleshooting for the computer systems and networks of our regional distribution centers in the USA. You will also be involved in designing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the network infrastructure and services within our globally harmonized infrastructure. Job Responsibilities: Responding to user requests and issues via phone, email, chat, or in person. Installing, configuring, updating, and maintaining hardware and software components related to the network. Diagnosing and resolving technical problems with computer systems, networks, access points, routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices. Providing training and guidance to users on how to use various network applications and systems. Documenting and reporting technical issues, solutions, and feedback. Collaborating with other IT staff, outsource partners, and vendors to ensure optimal performance and security of the network systems and services. Performing routine maintenance and backup of the network systems and data. Evaluating and optimizing network performance data regarding things like speed, connectivity, and disaster recovery. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, network engineering, or a related field. Experience in providing technical support and customer service. Knowledge of common operating systems, applications, and network protocols. Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems in a timely and effective manner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly. Certifications from reputable organizations such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, Redhat, VMWare, AWS, Google, IBM, etc. Other: Relocation and/or work sponsorship are not offered with this position.
