Oregon Spice Company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department. This role is a great opportunity for those looking to get into the HR field. Their primary duties will focus on recruitment and onboarding, but they will receive training in other areas of HR as well. There is potential for this position to grow to full time. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with employee onboarding, including preparing new hire paperwork and conducting orientations.
• Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and screening candidates.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
• Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries.
• Translate HR-related documents and communications from English to Spanish and vice versa.
• Facilitate communication between HR and Spanish-speaking employees.
• Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
• Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Assist with safety and training duties.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal proficiency required).
• Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
