Role Summary

The Performance Improvement Specialist at Steel Point Solutions is responsible for driving initiatives that enhance organizational performance and efficiency. This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to optimize operations and achieve measurable results. The Performance Improvement Specialist plays a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and recommend performance improvement strategies and action plans based on data-driven insights and best practices.
  • Implementation: Lead the implementation of performance improvement initiatives, ensuring effective execution and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and ensure buy-in for improvement initiatives.
  • Change Management: Support change management efforts by communicating improvements, managing resistance, and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of improvement initiatives and ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on performance improvement projects, including progress updates, results, and recommendations for further action.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying trends, sharing best practices, and fostering innovation within the organization.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to teams on performance improvement methodologies and tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Secret Clearance Required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, engineering, information technology, or organizational change (in lieu of degree five (5) years of experience in one of the stated disciplines substitutes)
  • 2+ years of experience in performance improvement/process improvement methodologies
  • Proficient in statistical methods and analytics (Correlation & Stepwise Regression Analysis, hypothesis testing etc.)

Preferred Experience

  • Master's Degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, engineering, information technology, or organizational change with U. S. Navy fleet experience
  • Prior experience supporting the Navy

The salary range represents a general guideline; however, Steel Point Solutions considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

$120,000—$144,000 USD
