Job Summary
Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory. Maintains supply inventory in collection areas and phlebotomy trays. Assists lab staff with non-testing essential functions.

Essential Functions
* Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.
* Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
* Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
* Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.

Minimum Education
* High School Graduate Required
* Completion of a certified phlebotomy training program preferred
* Previous hospital experience preferred
* ASPT or ASCP certification preferred
* 1 month phlebotomy experience preferred.
