Position: RN - Pediatrics

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Contract: 3 Months (High possibility of extension)

👩‍⚕️ About the Role:

As a Pediatric RN , you will play a pivotal role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating young patients. Your responsibilities include:

• Utilizing the nursing process to provide direct care and lead a multidisciplinary team.
• Developing and implementing comprehensive care plans, including discharge planning and patient education.
• Supervising and coordinating care with LPNs, nursing attendants, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensuring the delivery of age-appropriate care, adhering to hospital policies and standards.
• Managing electronic health records and contributing to the team’s Quality Improvement initiatives.

🎓 Required Education & Certifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Required)
• BSN (Preferred)
• BLS Certification (Required)

🔑 Required Skills & Experience:

• Pediatric experience in either acute or long-term care (LTC).
• Strong patient care skills and experience with discharge planning .
• Knowledge of billing systems and electronic health records.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.

🕒 Schedule:

• Night shift availability required. You’ll be working with a committed and supportive team to ensure the best care for our patients.
