Senior Estimator - Commercial Painting Industry

Estimator Job Responsibilities:
  • Estimator plays a key role for the company by working with Project Managers as new projects are brought in by sales, using computer software to create accurate bids, and acting as a strong communicator between company and client.
  • This role adds value to the organization by ensuring the work is estimated and bid accurately, completed according to project specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Assisting the Project Manager to ensure they deliver the highest level of service to clients.
  • Bids are brought in through a bid board and it's the Estimators responsibility to complete the bid accurately and in a timely manner. Efficiency and time management are key in becoming a successful Estimator for the team.
Desired Experience
  • 2+ years in a construction-related industry in ESTIMATING role
  • Understanding of online bidding portals and software is preferred
  • Strong people and communication skills
  • Ability to work in multiple applications simultaneously
  • Proficiency in math and measurements
  • Some experience or affinity for the building/construction industry
