Overview
The Technical Recruiter will augment the existing recruiting team by sourcing, screening, interviewing and placing candidates for contract, contract-to-hire and permanent information technology job openings. This individual is a team player who effectively builds relationships both inside and outside the organization. Must be a self-starter who values team input and is able to succeed in the existing streamlined recruiting process. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tremendous income potential so the ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, an outgoing personality, a great work ethic and a strong desire to succeed.
Job Responsibilities
· Recruit contract and direct hire candidates through job postings, database searches, internet search engines, networking, referrals and cold calling
· Position will involve sourcing, screening, technical testing, interviewing, closing candidates, conducting references checks, extending offers, negotiating contracts and compensation
· Work closely with candidates to provide career guidance and resume analysis to help match with appropriate job opportunities at client companies
· Work closely with account managers and client hiring managers to assess job openings, qualify job details, represent appropriate candidates and manage the interview/offer process
· Handle all appropriate follow up with candidates to build meaningful and productive relationships which includes managing contract employees while on assignment to assess and investigate contractor related problems, and administer performance counseling, coaching or corrective action when necessary
· Communicate with peers by sharing recruiting "best practices” and providing accurate, thorough documentation on candidates in applicant tracking systems or other documentation tools
· Must truly be able to multitask and keep organized as this position will consistently work on a high volume of job requisitions simultaneously
· Must be able to work independently, have a positive outlook and excellent work ethic which includes being willing to recruit after hours when needed
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree or related sales or recruiting experience
· 2+ years experience in an agency recruiting environment is highly preferred
· Understanding of basic information technology principles and related terminology
· Possess strong written and oral English communication skills
· Familiarity with Microsoft Word and MS Outlook (or similar email application)
· Work experience in a service-oriented or customer service related business
· Ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities
· Familiarity with sourcing techniques for active and passive candidates
· Desire to learn and advance in a fast paced sales environment and to achieve unlimited earning potential in an aggressive salary plus commission structure
· Be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
