Leidos is seeking a qualified Team Lead, Test Engineering to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team. As a leader, you will oversee and coordinate the work of a team of Test Engineers supporting an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies.
Clearance: - Possess a current Secret clearance.
Responsibilities: - Oversee a team of Test Engineers, ensuring their tasks are aligned with project goals and deadlines.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Ensure efficient test execution, documentation of results, and timely resolution of defects.
- Collaborate with engineers to identify and address issues prior to delivery of test plans to third-party testers.
- Promote the use of test automation tools and techniques to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Interact with customers, users, product developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate progress, and address concerns.
- Represent the test team in project meetings and decision-making processes.
- Ensure that the team adheres to quality standards and best practices throughout the testing process.
- Conduct code reviews and audits to identify potential defects.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with effectively detecting, tracking, reporting, and communicating test defects.
- Experience with the life cycle of software in military simulation systems.
- Familiar with agile development methodologies and test-driven development.
- Expertise in the Atlassian tool suite, to include JIRA and Confluence
- Current IAT Level II or higher Certification such as Security + or CISSP
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Certifications: - Current IAT Level II or higher Certification (Security+, CISSP, etc.)
- Relevant testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with requirements traceability, system-of-systems integration and testing.
- Experience with cloud-based environments and infrastructure.

Pay Range: Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
