Job Description

Job Title: TIG Welder

This person will be responsible for supporting the fabrication team in their fabrication shop, making custom pieces for metal kitchen designs, custom house railings, custom high-end elevator artworks, etc. They will primarily focus on TIG welding, which requires a specific technique.

Responsibilities

• 60% TIG Welding / Fabrication, including reading blueprints, material preparation, and machine preparation
• 20% Going out to client sites to help with any installation issues
• 20% Maintaining a clean shop environment

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of welding experience
• Proficiency in TIG welding
• Experience welding with different materials such as steel, brass, aluminum, and copper
• Ability to weld thin materials (20-gauge) and thicker materials (quarter-inch)
• Coachability and ability to learn new techniques

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with fabricating equipment such as band saw, cold saw, brake press, and water jet
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience in related industries such as aerospace, decorative metal companies, or elevator companies

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00
