About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Market Access to join their executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic plans for the market access and reimbursement of the company's oncology portfolio, both in the US and globally. This pivotal role involves creating and managing market access strategies, forming strategic account engagement plans, leading price negotiations, and developing market access value propositions. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or higher, a minimum of 15 years' experience in market access, with a focus on launch readiness and strategy within the oncology, pharmaceutical, or medical device sectors, and a proven track record in managed markets and market access marketing, particularly with direct managed care experience. The role requires a professional with a deep understanding of the compliance aspects associated with market access, demonstrated experience in influencing strategy, and managing across multiple markets. The Vice President of Market Access will also provide an access perspective to pipeline assets and lead the development of payer and channel customer strategies to maximize access in a competitive environment. The position demands a leader with excellent communication, and great leadership skills, who is also hands-on and ready to be involved from the start. The candidate should be adept at managing partnerships and will have the opportunity to build and lead a team.
