We are currently seeking a Full-Time Expanded Function Dental Assistant or Hygienist to provide corrections-focused training to our dental teams working in correctional facilities across the country. Training is conducted on-site in a controlled/secure environment; therefore, the successful candidate will be required to pass a facility background clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to the requirements of the Company as a Corporate Trainer.
• Provide initial and ongoing training for dental teams
• Local and overnight travel, including out of state travel
• Function as a chairside assistant when needed
• Work with facility staff to ensure patient flow
• Provide instruction on room set/up and breakdown, including portable equipment
• Instruct dental teams on Company protocols, policies, and documentation
• Assist as needed with updating Company protocols to ensure compliance with dental industry standards
• Communicate with Corrections Manager at the Corporate Office on a regular basis

• Possess a current certification as an EFDA or licensed dental Hygienist
• Active and current dental radiology certificate
• Experience as an instructor or trainer preferred but not required
• Organized, self-motivated, and possess good time management skills
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working as an EFDA or Hygienist
• Comfortable assisting in all aspects of general dentistry with an emphasis in oral surgery
• Must be reliable and dependable
• Must have flexibility and willingness to adjust to unexpected schedule changes
• Must successfully pass background clearances
